The free extra warranty year
Silver Cross car seats carry a standard two-year manufacturer's guarantee against manufacturing faults, running from the date of production. Registering the product through the Silver Cross mobile app adds a further year.
Do it the day the seat arrives. The registration is free, the extra year is free, and there is no version of this where waiting helps.

Accident damage and normal wear are excluded, and you must have followed the fitting and care instructions.
It is not transferable.
Only the original purchaser can claim, which is another reason not to buy a used car seat.

The service and valet scheme
The second thing Silver Cross does that competitors do not is repair and restore its own prams, including models years out of production.
Customers report sending a 2017 Pioneer in and having it repaired, fitted with new parts and returned cleaned, with collection and delivery inside a week. On a pram being prepared for a second or third child, that is a fraction of replacement cost.
